COVID_19: A SERIES OF 57 INK DRAWINGS / COLLAGES BASED ON PERSONAL ATTEMPTS TO UNDERSTAND COVID-19 AND THE CRISES IT HAS CREATED.

These drawings are not literal interpretations but rather vehicles for reflecting on the contents of the COVID problem and newspaper headlines addressing aspects of our current situation vis-a-vis the virus. There are a total of 57 works in the series, 19 per series.

I began the first series in March 2020 during lockdown in Tübingen University Guest House for visiting professors. In June 2020 I returned to Venice where I made the second series during July-August-September 2020 and the third set of drawings in September-October-November of 2020 during my second lockdown, this time in Venice.
